On June 6, 2025 Ingeborg Reichle joint HKUST(GZ) President Lionel Ni’s delegation to visit the University of Antwerp, Belgium, which was warmly wellcomed by Rector Herwig Leirs. The two university leaders were signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a strategic partnership between the institutions.

Wrapping up the trip to Belgium, the president’s delegation came to thelast stop - Antwerp Port House, a landmark designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, and discussedwith the port’s authority over cooperation on event planning and student internship.
